What are the differences between Playermaker and CITYPLAY?

The Playermaker and CITYPLAY products are both Playermaker-powered technologies. The Playermaker product is the first model of Playermaker's technology, while the CITYPLAY product is the next generation of Playermaker's technology, developed in partnership with Manchester City Football Club.

The Playermaker and CITYPLAY products include different versions of hardware (kit) and mobile applications.

Compared to the Playermaker product, the CITYPLAY product includes sensors that are smaller, straps that are leaner, and a battery with greater capacity and life span. The newly advanced CITYPLAY app includes additional physical and technical data, exclusive in-app content such as position-specific drills, personalized tips, and recommendations coming from Man-City experts.
