Playermaker Stats Glossary - Explained

Our stats glossary is designed to help you understand the displayed stats found in both your training and match sessions. Here, all displayed stats are explained in great detail. In order to access the stats glossary on the app, locate and press the ' i ', found in all of your training / match sessions.

Involvement 

  1. Touches
    • The total number of times your leg came in contact with the ball
  2. Ball releases
    • The total number of passes
  3. Possessions
    • The total number of times you had control of the ball:
      • Release action (pass/ kick/ shot) or
      • Sequence of 3 touches or
      • Covered at least 6 meters with the ball

 

Playing Tempo

  1. One - touch
    • A single action in which you receive and release the ball
  2. Short possession
    • A ball possession lasting 1.5 seconds or less
  3. Long possession
    • A ball possession lasting more than 1.5 seconds

 

Technical Balance

  1. Touch by Leg
    • % of touches per leg
  2. Release by leg
    • % of ball releases per leg
  3. Receive by leg
    • % of ball receives per leg
  4. Max kicking velocity
    • The maximum speed of your foot during the kick

 

Speed

  1. Top Speed
    • The maximum speed you reached for at least 1 second
  2. Sprints
    • The total number of times you exceeded a speed above 5.5 m/s (pro sprint) or 4.2 m/s (youth sprint) for at least 1 second, displayed in either imperial or metric measurements
  3. Accel / Decel
    • The total number of high-speed changes you made above 2 m/S2 for at least 0.5 second

 

Volume

  1. Distance Covered
    • Your total distance covered during an activity
  2. Sprint Distance
    • The total distance you covered at a speed at or above 5.5 m/s (pro sprint) or 4.2 m/s (youth sprint)
  3. Work Rate
    • The total distance you covered during an activity divided by its duration
