Playermaker's algorithm calculates 'Match' and 'Training' sessions differently. Post activity, when selecting either 'Match' or 'Training', please consider the following information below.
How the Playermaker system automatically calculates Match participation time:
- When calculating match participation time, we identify the player's activity per minute. Within each minute, we identify if the movements being performed are part of the actual match, warm-up, or inactive / resting periods (sitting on the bench). Next, an additional algorithm goes through all of the performed minutes and thus builds a sequence (warm-up, 1st half, 2nd half, over-time). The only sequences that are displayed on the post-match analysis are the first and second-half performances (and overtime if relevant). The warm-up stats are never included as part of the statistical display.
- NOTE: If there is overtime, our algorithms will consider and display this data as the '3rd half'.
How the Playermaker system automatically calculates Training participation time:
- When calculating Training participation time, our algorithm identifies both the start and end time of the session in the exact same way. Our system identifies the start time of your training by identifying the first 30-second window in which the player's average movement velocity is above 1 m/s. Likewise, our system identifies the end time of your training by identifying the last 30-second window in which the player's average movement velocity is above 1 m/s.
