What is Playermaker's Viewer Mode and how does it work?

Use our Viewer Mode feature and give up to 3 people full viewing access to your Playermaker account, settings, and permissions. Allow, a coach, parent, or friend a new and efficient way to monitor your Playermaker account, without the ability to make any edits / changes to your profile.

How to give someone permission to view your account:

  1. Go to 'Settings'.
  2. Select 'Privacy Settings'.
  3. Under 'Manage viewers', add the relevant person's email (coach, parent, teammate, friend, etc).
  4. On the top right of the screen, press the blue checkmark to save your changes.
  5. Now, an email will be sent to the person letting them know that they were added as a new viewer to your Playermaker account.

What to do after being added as a new viewer:

  1. Go to your email inbox.
  2. Find / open the email you received from Playermaker with the subject line, "(Name) has invited you to view their Playermaker activity".
  3. After, download the Playermaker app.
  4. Next, use the relevant email address (found in the email mentioned in step 2) to sign in to the Playermaker app.
    • If you are a new viewer who DOESN'T have an existing Playermaker account, then you are not required to sign up and create a separate profile on the app. This is optional.

    • If you are a new viewer who DOES have an existing Playermaker account, then sign in to your Playermaker profile and view the relevant user's account from there.
      • How to view a user's account from an existing profile:
        • Sign in to your Playermaker account.
        • Go to the 'Activities' screen.
        • Tap on your profile image that is located on the top left of the screen.
        • Select the user's account in which you'd like to view.
        • After you are finished viewing the relevant user's account, repeat the same steps from above to return to your Playermaker profile.

  • Viewers are NOT permitted to make any edits or changes to the relevant user's Playermaker account.
  • You can ONLY enter up to 3 email addresses.
