What is the Viewer Mode feature?

Use our Viewer Mode feature and give up to 3 people full viewing access to your Playermaker account, settings, and permissions. Allow, a coach, parent, or friend a new and efficient way to monitor your Playermaker account, without the ability to make any edits / changes to your profile.

NOTE: This feature can only be accessed from the iOS app; however, the Android app allows you to give someone permission to view your account.

How to give someone permission to view your account:

  1. Open the Playermaker app.
  2. Go to 'Settings'.
  3. Select 'Privacy Settings'.
  4. Under 'Manage viewers', add the relevant person's email (coach, parent, teammate, friend, etc).
    • NOTE: You can only enter up to 3 email addresses.
  5. On the top right of the screen, press the blue checkmark to save your changes.
  6. Now, an email will be sent to the person letting them know that they were added as a new viewer to your Playermaker account.

What to do after being added as a viewer to someone's account:

  1. Go to your email inbox.
  2. Find and open the email you received from Playermaker with the subject line, "(Name) has invited you to view their Playermaker activity".
  3. After, download the Playermaker app if it isn't already downloaded.
  4. Next, use the relevant email address (found in the email in step 2) to sign in to the Playermaker app.
    • If you are a new viewer who DOESN'T have an existing Playermaker account, then you are not required to sign up and create a separate profile on the app. This is optional.

    • If you are a new viewer who DOES have an existing Playermaker account, then sign in to your Playermaker profile and view the relevant user's account from there.

How to view someone's account:

  1. Sign in to your Playermaker account.
  2. Go to 'Activities'.
  3. Tap on your profile image that is located on the top left of the screen.
  4. Select the user's account that you'd like to view.
  5. You are now viewing the relevant user's account.
  6. After you are finished viewing someone's account, refer to the above steps to return to your Playermaker account.
