This article teaches you how your sensors' battery performs, charges, and operates.
NOTE: When your case is not plugged into the charger, then your sensors will go into rest mode. It is important to know that in rest mode, your sensor's battery will slowly lose charge.
Battery drainage pattern = GREEN → ORANGE → RED
Hardware Version 1.4
The minimum battery life required to start and record a session with HW Version 1.4 is ≥ 20%. A 20% battery life allows you to record up to 5 hours of activity.
Green lights | Orange lights | Red lights
Battery % | 100%-35% | 34%-20% | Low battery |
Battery life in rest mode | 7 days | 34 hours | None |
Hardware Version 1.3
The minimum battery life required to start and record a session with HW Version 1.3 is ≥ 40%. A 40% battery life allows you to record up to 4 hours of activity.
Green lights | Orange lights | Red lights
Battery % | 100%-60% | 59%-40% | Low battery |
Battery life in rest mode | 72 hours | 24 hours | None |
Charging facts, tips, and recommendations:
- Charge your sensors after each performed activity.
- It takes approximately 3-4 hours to fully charge your sensors from zero battery.
- Charging your sensors for an extended period of time (a few days) will not affect your sensors' battery performance or short-circuit your battery.
- You can manually turn your sensors off to preserve the battery life. See this article to learn how to correctly turn your sensors off and on.
- If your sensors die or are manually turned off while you are performing an activity, then your session data will be permanently deleted.
- Playermaker sensors' operating temperature ranges between 0-40 degrees Celsius (32-100 Fahrenheit). Operating in temperatures outside this range might affect the battery's performance.
